Teaching About Racism: A Toolkit

We’re so excited for our newest presentation Teaching About Racism Toolkit. As you plan your week ahead, we wanted you to be aware we are offering this presentation as a live only event.

Live attendance will provide the richest experience and learning opportunity for this important topic. In this hands-on presentation, Dr. Cynthia A. Tyson, PhD, MSW, LSW, will be sharing practical strategies for discussing race and current events with youth. You’ll be able to bring your questions and be part of the conversation, something that doesn’t translate to a simple recording. We hope you are able to attend the live presentation.

Where you’re a healthcare provider, educator, counselor, therapist, extension professional, or the like, this live webinar will give you the tools needed to talk about race and racism with youth.

Dr. Cynthia A. Tyson is a Professor in the College of Education and Human Ecology, Department of Teaching and Learning at The Ohio State University where she teaches courses in Multicultural and Equity Studies in Education, Early Childhood Social Studies and Multicultural Literature for Children and Young Adults. Her research interests include inquiry into the social, historical, and cultural intersections of teaching, learning, and educational research.
