What is the Brookings Council of Nonprofits?

The Brookings Council of Nonprofits is a free coalition that any nonprofit may join. Established in 2018, this council meets monthly through a social or meeting to network, dig deeper into local issues, collaborate, and share stories of our programs. Open to all nonprofits, and meets the 4th Friday of every month at the Brookings Area United Way office.

Day of Giving Meeting

The Brookings Council of Nonprofits members got together for a "Day of Giving" collaboration meeting where they discussed partnership opportunities for local nonprofits to come together and align their efforts for the statewide collective fundraising event.
