What is Resilient Community Brookings County?

Brookings County is the first Resilient Community in South Dakota! The Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment and partner organizations created the Resilient Community framework to help address factors in communities that put children at risk for abuse and neglect.

Resilient Community Event, November 2024

The Resilient Communities Brookings County hosted an event on November 18, 2024, where they reviewed the SEARCH Institute Youth Behavior Survey with Chad Adamson, Brookings School District Counselor. There were 60 people in attendance.
