Share the Warmth Spring Coat Drive

The Salvation Army of Brookings county is holding their spring “Share the Warmth” drive May 1-15th. Community members can bring their new or gently used winter coats, boots, hats, gloves and snow pants to the Best Choice moving truck located at the First Bank & Trust (520 6th St) or to the Salvation Army’s office.
The items collected in the drive will be given away at the annual “Share the Warmth” event October 11, 2023. The Salvation Army asks that all gently used donations are clean or laundered before drop-off.
We are also collecting donations for the Brookings Harvest Table. Items accepted for the Harvest table include any non-perishable food items, diapers, and wipes.
