Native American Heritage Month- Geraldine Goes in Center: Pre-Colonization, Colonization, and Decolonization of Lakota Food and Diet

Goes in the center presents the history of the diet of the Lakota people, covering pre-reservation, early reservation, and present time.  The presentation includes information on the types of food Lakota people consumed and how foods were preserved and prepared.

These events, except for the documentary screening and book club discussion, will be offered both in person in the Library’s Cooper Room and on Zoom.  Zoom links can be found on the Library’s website calendar and Facebook page.
